WW2 US M4 Bayonet Utica for M1 Carbine Fighting Knife ~~~ PLACTIC GRIPS ~Reworked? Utica marked M4. Tang appears rusty as if the original leather grips had gotten damp and then removed. The grips are unmarked. The pommel is held by a typical WW2 sunburst peen and marked SP. Guard is secured by a bent metal bar passing through the tang. Pommel is marked with the flaming bomb U.S. M4 Utica. And the blade may have a stamp but I am unable to make it out. Appears tohave some type of wax over it, not sure what it is. Just didn't want to remove it and cause damage to the blade. Please view pictures closely. Please ask questions, and I will do my best to answer. I tried to take every angle possible to help describe the bayonet. Thanks for viewing.
